"Where Tradition Meets Healthy Indulgence."

Laddum Organics was born not from a business plan, but from love—the love of a new mother discovering an ancient wisdom that would transform her life and, eventually, the lives of countless families across India.
Laddum Organics began with a simple but heartfelt vision brought to life by a new mother, our Ex-Founder Upma Bhatnagar, who sought to nurture her family with the purest, most authentic laddus. Upma discovered the traditional beauty of laddus during her own pregnancy and post-partum journey. Throughout this period, her family lovingly prepared a variety of laddus for her, following age-old recipes passed down through generations. As she held her newborn, she realized that the laddus her mother, grandmother, and ancestors had made for centuries held within them not just flavours, but healing, strength, and the accumulated knowledge of Ayurvedic tradition.
Drawing from generations of closely guarded recipes, they lovingly prepared laddus—infused with Ayurvedic herbs, nourishing fats, and medicinal spices designed to support her pregnancy. These weren't just sweets; they were acts of love, carefully crafted by hands that understood the delicate balance between tradition and nourishment.
Drawing upon her father's legacy (Dr. Chandra Prakash Bhatnagar) with over 35 years of experience in traditional Ayurvedic wellness and natural food preparation, she transformed this invaluable knowledge into a brand committed to restoring India’s ancient tradition of laddus.
Born in the vibrant kitchens of Rajasthan, the story of Laddum Organics is one of family heritage, passion, and trust. From generations of recipes lovingly crafted to promote health and vitality, to meticulous sourcing of the finest ingredients, this brand embodies the deep bond between health, tradition and innovation.
Inspired by her parents’ dedication and expertise, Upma created laddus for every age and wellness need—each handcrafted in small batches, blending time-honored wisdom with modern nutritional insights. Beyond tradition, she innovated by introducing customization options so customers can select replacements for certain non-mandatory ingredients based on individual needs and preferences, ensuring each laddu is tailored for maximum benefit.
Upma always believed that Laddum Organics was never just her story — it was her family's story, her community's story, India's story. And so, when the time came for her to answer another calling, she placed Laddum Organics into the hands of the one person who had always been its silent soul — her mother, Mamta Bhatnagar, now our new Co-founder & CEO.
Mamta brings to this role something no boardroom can manufacture: the instinct of a mother who has seen what food can heal, what tradition can restore, and what care can build. Under her stewardship, Laddum Organics remains exactly what Upma envisioned — every recipe intact, every value preserved, every promise kept.
Upma took her father's timeless recipes and asked a revolutionary question: What if we could honor tradition while honoring individuality? This is how the idea of customization was born. Understanding that every body is different, every need is unique, every person carries their own health story, Laddum Organics introduced the option for customers to select alternatives for non-mandatory ingredients. A customer with a nut allergy can still enjoy the benefits. Someone following a specific diet can customize their laddu. A person with unique health requirements can have their laddu tailored to their needs.
This is not mass production adapting itself through options—this is true personalization born from genuine care.
Every single laddu that bears the Laddum Organics name is prepared by skilled artisans using time-honored, hands-on methods. We reject the sterile efficiency of factories. We embrace the intentional slowness of craft. We blend Upma's father's 35 years of accumulated wisdom with her own personal understanding of what wellness truly means.
Whether it is laddus to strengthen immunity, to support pregnancy and post-partum recovery, to energize children, to restore senior vitality, or to aid those on specific wellness journeys—each variety is formulated with reverence for the human body and respect for nature's gifts.
Having seeded something beautiful and placed it in the most capable hands, Upma has moved on to her next mission — founding Bhagyadhan Research Services (www.bhagyadhan.com), a financial research venture where she is now fully devoted. Driven by the same spirit of service and integrity that built Laddum Organics, she is channelling her expertise and energy into empowering Indian investors with honest, well-researched financial guidance. Two ventures, one unwavering purpose — to make a genuine difference in people's lives.
Laddum Organics carries her legacy forward, proudly and purposefully, with every laddu it delivers.
Laddum Organics invites you to rediscover the nourishing power of tradition, crafted by a mother’s love and fortified by her father’s legacy - as a source of both joy and healing. Celebrate wholesome health, authentic taste, and trusted quality in every laddu we share with you.
